Let me start off by saying that I did not love this slate. As I mentioned in the Week 1 Review, I only play 1 lineup a week. This week, I constructed 4 viable lineups that I wanted to use. Last week, my lineup was basically locked on Saturday. This week, I finalized and locked my lineup at 12:50PM (10 minutes before the games began). About a half hour before lineup lock, I narrowed down my choices to a Dolphins stack or a Raiders stack. I knew the Raiders would be highly owned this week so I decided to go with the Dolphins stack and I'm glad I did.

For Week 2, I played on DraftKings. Let's dive in.

Contest: NFL $100K Stiff Arm (Single Entry)

Buy-In: $555

1st Place Payout: $15,000

Min-Cash: $1,000

Result: 10th Place. (I forgot to mention in the Week 1 Review that on weeks that I cash, I will be purchasing a jersey of the player that got the most points for that specific week. Find out below who's jersey I'll be ordering this week!).

QB: Tua Tagovailoa. I built a Dolphins stack pretty early in the week and didn't hate it. However, as the week went on, more and more value plays entered the fray and I ended up with 4 different QB's that I liked this week. My final decision was to stick with the Dolphins stack and choose Tua. I hoped this game would shootout as Baltimore can score points and Tua has a lot of weapons to choose from as well. The game ended 42-38, which was just what the doctor ordered! Tua threw for 469 yards and 6 touchdowns! SIX! He scored 43.86 DK points which is damn near unheard of from a QB. And he wasn't even my highest scoring player this week! This play was a total smash and I'm glad I was on the right side of it this week.

RB1: Jonathan Taylor. Damn you, Mr. Taylor. DAMN YOU. Jonathan Taylor goes off most weeks. It's pretty rare when he doesn't go off. The Colts have a great offensive line and their team as a whole was projected to win 12 games this season. When they get up on their opponents, it's usually all JT. For some reason, the Colts decided to not score a single point this week. The Jaguars beat them 24-0. I know, is this real life? JT only had 1 catch out of the backfield and only ran for 54 yards on the ground with no touchdowns. That kind of production (7.30 DK points) from the highest priced player on the slate is absolutely devastating. Thankfully, the Dolphins stack helped pick up the points for this week. I don't expect JT to struggle like this again this season. Or maybe ever.

RB2: Christian McCaffrey. Here we go again. Back to the well with CMC. Like I said in my Week 1 Review, when CMC is fully healthy, he's almost a must play every week. I decided to stick with CMC again this week as he was going againt the Giants who I don't believe are a good football team and I expected CMC to dominate this week. Both of my RB spots were the 2 most expensive runnings backs in the NFL (JT and CMC) and it didn't pan out like I expected. CMC ran for 102 yards but only caught 4 balls. This is unusual for him as he usually gets 7+ catches a game. Again, I blame Baker Mayfield. Why else would he not be getting catches like he usually does? He still scored 19.80 DK points but that is low for CMC and I will definately be monitoring his production week-by-week because 2 weeks in a row now he didn't cut it.

WR1: Greg Dortch. With Rondale Moore missing his 2nd straight game, Dortch was expected to be in a great spot. In what was supposed to be a shootout in Las Vegas, Dortch came in 43% owned, which is really high. However, he was so cheap and performed very well last week. In another likely positive scenario, it was a slam dunk play to roster Dortch. He ended up with 4 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. You can't ask for more than that from a guy priced as low as $3,500. Plus, AJ Green is dust.

WR2: Tyreek Hill. If you guessed that my new jersey purchase was going to be the Cheetah, you were correct! Hill went OFF as the Dolphins stack worked out to perfection. The only regret I had was taking out Jaylen Waddle and not going with the Tua double stack. However, Hill had 11 catches for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns. 45 DK points! What an absolute smash spot for Hill as part of the Dolphins stack. I expect this offense to put up points all season as all Tua has to do is just throw the ball as far as he can and Tyreek will run under it and not be within 5 yards of a defender. You all remember the meme from last year of Kyler Murray or Joe Burrow just throwing the ball up and saying "screw it, Ja'Marr Chase out there somewhere." I'll speak for Tua this week, "screw it, Cheetah out there somewhere."

WR3: Ashton Dulin. Is this a mis-print? Who in the actual hell is Ashton Dulin? Well, all of the Colts pass catchers were out this week. We had no Michael Pittman. And who even is the Colts WR2? Speaking of AJ Green and dust...Paris Campbell is dust. So, where does that leave us? Mr. Dulin was going to see a ton of snaps and play most of the plays when they needed to pass. He's also a pretty freakish athlete. Dulin ended with 5 catches for 79 yards. For only $3,200, I'll take that every week.

TE: Mark Andrews. There aren't many tight ends in the NFL that you can play each week and feel good about. Not many have ceilings like Andrews or Kelce. Since I played the Dolphins stack, I wanted to bring it back with a pass catcher from the Ravens so if this game did shootout, I had exposure to both sides. Of course when you are looking for a pass catcher on the Ravens team, you look no further than Mark Andrews. And he did not disappoint! 9 catches, 104 yards, and a touchdown was good for 28.70 DK points. I'll never not like rostering Andrews as he just always performs week in and week out.

FLEX: Richie James Jr. This is another WHO is this dude question. The Giants pass catchers are all a dart throw. And if they aren't, they just aren't good. James Jr. got a decent amount of play in Week 1 and if he was projected to get a decent amount of targets again, at this price ($3,200), I'm in. James Jr. had 5 catches for 51 yards for 10.10 DK points. It's not great but again, for that price, we take those.

DEFENSE: Cincinnati Bengals. There aren't many weeks where a defense is considered the chalk. (Chalk = everyone is going to draft them). Dak Prescot broke his thumb last week so Cooper Rush was going up against the Bengals. Cincinnati was also the 2nd lowest priced defense. In a situation where I drafted JT, CMC, and Hill, I needed the salary savings on CIN D. They were 53.5% owned which is not something I'd usually go with but I didn't see a way that they fail. They actually lost the game but due to their low pricing, it didn't really matter what happened.

Results: 10th place out of 200 for $2,000!

Like I said above, I had a tough time making my final decisions this week. I am happy to say though that I made the correct decisions with the Dolphins stack and bring back. There were a few guys that I wanted this week but couldn't fit in. I thought Barkley and Mixon were both in great spots and I thought Adams was going to break the slate. Thankfully none of the 3 did much. I finished the week with 187.46 points. A min-cash needed 145.38. This was a tough slate so I'm excited to have made some money and to head on into Week 3. Hopefully Sunday isn't as stressful this coming week as it was this past week. We will leave Week 2 with a W!

C'mon Fantasizers. This guy finished in 10th place. Let's give him some love. It's a lonely feeling to put one's blood, sweat and tears into a blog (or whatever you young people call it) and two days later the only comments are those made by an old dumb guy. Let's F Gooooo. Make Harold feel good, like Lana Rhoades doing an hour-long scene with 10 guys. Like Mitchell F Trubisky completing a pass DOWNfield. Like I feel when I'm 6 and 4 for the season on my football bets and am showing a 50% Return on Investment.

Nice write-up, Harold F Pfuftig. I'm learning a lot about fantasy football from you. Take that apostrophe out of the word jersey's. It's plural, not possessive. Will you order the jersey from China? Mitchell F Trubisky is your QB for week 4. I'm guessing Thursday games aren't included. He's about to catch fire. Mitchell is the Riley Reid of the NFL. LFGOOOOO Hal !!!!
