This game can frustrate the hell out of you and cause you to start day drinking. After the "undefeated" 2-0-3 result last week, I had a very real chance to go 5-0. But my two losses were both games that went to overtime after the team I was backing had a double digit lead. Siiiiiiiiigh. Let's get into it:
Steelers +1.5
Bills -3.5
Titans -2.5
Colts +6.5
Cowboys -4.5
Steelers +1.5
Remember the Circa lines lock on Thursday so I was getting the Steelers as a small home dog and the line kept moving in their advantage. Some books even had the Steelers as -1 by kickoff on Sunday. I liked the spot all week, Steelers coming off of a bye, Saints on the short week after playing MNF last week and the Saints suck. Andy Dalton is 3-13 against the Steelers and TJ Watt was returning. It all looked like a slam dunk and the Steelers took Dalton to 3-14 with a 20-10 victory.
Bills -3.5
OK, this was one of those lines that was all over the place all week. It started out early in the week as Bills -6.5. Then we started hearing about the UCL elbow injury for Josh Allen and midweek the line plummeted to -3.5, but no official word if Allen was out or not. And something told me, Allen would still play. I looked at this two ways. IF Allen was playing Sunday, the Circa line locked in at -3.5 and I'd be getting a huge line advantage when it was 6.5 just a day before. But IF Allen was going to miss the game, that it was qualify as a star angle play where the market typically overcompensates when a star player or QB is out and it would be one of my angle plays. Well as it turned out, Allen would play and we didn't even know about it for sure until about 12:45pm! He played and the Bills were rolling and were up SEVENTEEN points. Then the game turned, got stupid and the Bills defense decided to take a massive dump on the field in the second half. 4th and 18, Bills up 4, final drive and Jefferson makes the catch of the decade, Vikings still don't score at the goal line. Allen sneaks it and fumbles the football (smh), Vikings score and we end up in OT and Vikings win it. This one stung.
Titans -2.5
This one doesn't need much thought. The Titans D looked solid on the road in Kansas City last week and the Broncos just blow. And Russell Wilson is a strange dude. And washed. Figured with Tannehill back, that him and Henry and the D would be able to cover as a small home favorite. And they did in a 17-10 slog that set back professional football.
Colts +6.5
Jeff Saturday! A lot was said all week about the Colts firing Frank Reich and pulling Saturday out of the studio to be the interim coach. In his first game, they traveled to Vegas to take on the Raiders. Like I said couple weeks ago, who the hell are the Raiders to be giving anyone 6.5 points? Screw that, I was taking the Colts all week. Saturday made the move late on Sunday to start Matt Ryan and Jonathan Taylor showed up as the Colts upset the Raiders and were covering this line all game.
Cowboys -4.5
Hey, I'm 3-1 heading into this Cowboys/Packers game. Hey, the Cowboys are up 28-14 in the fourth quarter. I'm going to go 4-1! NOPE. The Cowboys boogeymen Aaron Rodgers showed up again, started throwing TDs to Christian Watson like he was Jerry Rice and Packers tied it up to force OT. Another OT game. Cowboys win the coin toss, I have a chance. Cowboys drive down to the Packers 35 yard line, go for it on 4th and 3 and lack of mobility Dak can't get out of the pocket and throws it incomplete as he's being sacked. Packers kick a FG and ball game. And just like that a 5-0 week ends up 3-2.
Don't get me wrong, 3-2 week is a good week but I'm trying to catch up and it should have been at least 4-1 if not 5-0. But this happens when you're betting games in the National Football League. We've made it back to .500, now gotta keep grinding to get back to 60% and have a shot at cashing this year in the Circa Million. We have eight weeks left to make some noise.
Week 10: 3-2
Season: 23-23-4 (50%)

Slog that set back professional football! Hahahaha. Dude, fuck DAL and BUF. My God.
